Un lion pour la reine de Venise

[FR] La 67e édition de la traditionnelle Mostra de Venise s'est terminée en beauté pour Sofia Coppola et son nouveau long-métrage "Somewhere" qui a été récompensé par un lion d'or ce soir. C'est des mains du président du jury, M. Quentin Tarantino, que la réalisatrice s'est vu attribuer le prix d'honneur pour un travail d'une très grande qualité artistique, un film évoquant la crise existentielle d'un acteur hollywoodien qu'il tente de surmonter grâce à sa fille de 11 ans... A 39 ans, la réalisatrice confirme sa place parmi les plus grands du 7e Art en ajoutant un chef d'oeuvre de plus aux incontournables que sont Virgin Suicide, Lost in translation et le très critiqué Marie-Antoinette ; des oeuvres qui ont fait, au fil du temps sa célébrité ! On notera également une bande originale signée par le groupe français Phoenix, certainement un atout de plus qui a pesé son poids dans la course au lion...

[EN] The 67th edition of the european film festival the Mostra of Venice ended on a sucess for Sofia Coppola and her new film "Somewhere" which won a Golden Lion tonight. The jury's president, Mr Quentin Tarantino  awarded the film director with the honorary prize for a work of a great artistic quality, a movie about existential crisis of an Hollywood actor who try to pass through it, thanks to his daughter ... At 39 years old, the movie director confirms her place among the greatest of the 7th Art adding a masterpiece among the well known Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette that made her famous... Note also a soundtrack composed by the French band Phoenix, certainly one more benefits to win the Lion...
